Our shapes are all influenced by our way of living. We believe that surfing is not competition, it´s simpler and way more beautiful, than airs and televison broadcasts. All our surfboards are made thinking of the fun of riding a way.

We are terrible at it, but all our friends seem to like it, so we continue to do it. Crazy colors, patterns, paintings and details on the boards, it looks like when we were painting and cutting the stolen boards in the past.
We are crazy with colors and we are not afraid of using them. Let us know which color you like and we will use it. We like simplicity, but we also like to do some crazy shit. It won´t be perfect, but it will be unique for sure.
Yes for a better understanding of what you really need mix with what you want, knowing your size, weight and surf level will help us to shape the perfect surfboard for you, and also the one you always dreamed of. Even if you are not Kelly Slater, we will make you the board you want.
Again there are some shapes that work better with a specific type of fin system. But we are here to help you choose what you prefer but also what is appropriate for the shape and surfboard you are asking. You can even have two types on fin system in one surfboard.
When you make a custom surfboard with the crooks, we always offer you a t-shirt from the club (you´re one of us now) and we can help you find the best deals for the fins and leash ;)
Depending obviously on the orders we have in hand, from the day we produce the blank until the day we deliver you the board, it's three weeks. Portuguese normally are lazy and disorganized, but working closely for some of our northern friends since the beginning, made us respect and deliver on time. ;)
We just need to settle and agree on all the details about, shape, size, weight, surf level, fin system, colors, design and we are ready to go. You pay a deposit and we start immediately on it. The rest you pay when the board is ready and finished.
Concerning to the payment, you have many ways of paying for your board, especially if you are abroad. You can use Paypal or transfer the money to our bank account. If you are in Lisbon you can come to our office and pay in cash (euros) or in services. The wine is always included ;)
Yes no matter where you are in the world, we can get the surfboard to arrive without a scratch. We are proud for having sent surfboards already for all corners of the world. Let us know where you are and we will sent you some quotations. Europe is ok, other places just buy a ticket and come get it yourself :D
This is extremely important for you to know, never but never sign the delivery without checking if your surfboard is ok. We already had bad surprises. We always ship the surfboards with insurance, accidents happen, make sure you check everything before signing the paper.
This is the best part of the whole process, the cherry on the top. Call some of your friends, go alone, big waves, small waves, it doesn´t matter. Make sure you have a great time surfing with your new board. Don´t forget to send us a picture. Enjoy and smile riding the waves.
